It's alright, I don't regret it by any means. And eventually I will be. Right now I'm not powerful enough... we rank our strength in a caste system and only those of the highest group can incept others. Kaimana, Ulani, Nahir-Nuri. I'm a first level Ulani, a rank called Acantha, although they wanted to advance me further.

Given how the gods affect us, that you cannot yet may be for the best. How works advancement? Is it not a natural progression?
I wouldn't do so to anyone not from my world, anyway, even if they wanted it. We wither and die without our kind. I'd imagine it's only by some will of these gods that I didn't go mad on my own for so long.
Advancement doesn't happen without practicing your abilities. You don't just wake up hara and know how to heal, for example. It takes time to learn how to channel energy to do what you want it to. Weeks of staring at a candle before I was able to light it. At a glass before I was able to move it.
